Colosseo Gardens - My Extra Home

We were surprised by how quiet the neighborhood was, even though it’s right in the heart of the city. The apartment was very nice, with comfortable beds and a nice kitchen, and the company running the site communicated well. Check-in and checkout were super easy. We stayed over Thanksgiving weekend as a family of four. It’s close to buses, the Metro, the Colosseum, grocery stores, and restaurants, and also an easy walk from the train station. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

We liked our stay so much at Easter 2024 that we booked again for October 2025. The apartment was spotless, peaceful, and well equipped, right by the Colosseum. It’s a 10-minute walk to the Metro and 15 minutes to Termini. We were there with two teenagers, and the big living room plus separate bedrooms and bathrooms worked really well. The staff were lovely and always helpful. I can’t recommend the place enough, and we’ll return next time we visit this amazing city.

Gladys was extremely helpful and made sure the room was ready early and cool when we arrived. Our family of six had plenty of space, and everything was clean, modern, and well kept. The beds were very comfortable, with crisp, clean sheets. The kitchen was easy to use, and they’d left coffee pods and dishwasher soap. Most sights are under 30 minutes away, but the apartment sits outside the busy tourist area. I just loved the place and would recommend it 100%.

Colosseo Gardens worked well as a base for exploring old Rome, less than a ten-minute walk from the Colloseum. Buses and the Metro are under ten minutes away. Check-in was easy and efficient, and Mia was happy to help. The six of us fit comfortably in the rooms. The apartment was clean and felt safe. It had a large refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine, but no dryer. You can’t do laundry after 20.00 (8:00pm), though neither limit caused us a problem. There’s a rack for hanging clothes to dry.
