Daplace - Gaia Apartment

This is a nice apartment with three bedrooms, three double beds and two sofas, so ten people can sleep there. It also has two bathrooms with showers and a small kitchen with everything needed, including a big fridge and a Nespresso coffee machine. There was a good view from the fifth floor, and the old elevator was charming. The location worked well, near termini and Rome’s historic area. There’s plenty around, including coffee bars, restaurants, shops, and souvenir stores. We only took public transport to the Vatican and Lido beach, and could walk to the other main sights. The host was kind and helpful, and letting us into the apartment early was a big help. The price was okay. There were a couple of drawbacks: one bathroom drained very slowly, and the street noise came right through the bad windows, even from the fifth floor. The area is noisy 24 hours a day, so the windows really need fixing.
