The room was clean and smoke-free, with lots of towels, and the hot shower had strong pressure. We requested two single beds instead of a queen in advance and got exactly that. The toiletries included shampoo, shower gel, soap, body lotion, intimate wash, a sewing kit, cotton buds, cotton wool pads, a shower cap, and shoe buffer. Breakfast was a nice buffet, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is great, about a 20-second walk from trevi fountain, but I think it's quieter than 'hotel de trevi', which is right outside the fountain. A couple of downsides: the fridge made noisy bubbly sounds, though I always bring ear plugs, and I'd prefer softer beds, which is personal preference. The roof top bar was the most expensive place we found, with drinks costing more than at most nearby bars.

The location is very good, but the rooms, especially the bathrooms, need maintenance, with many parts coming off. Breakfast was only OK. It felt like management was trying hard to save money: there was no cheese selection or speciality bread, which is standard in 4 star hotels, the coffee from the machine was below average, and the olive oil came in plastic bags. Breakfast really isn't something to brag about here. Some staff also seemed unprofessional, talking to customers while eating at the desk. That's unimaginable in 4 star hotels in Florence, London,Vienna,Paris or Madrid.

The standout was the staff. Everyone had a great personality and was eager to make our Rome visit easier. The hotel is close to some wonderful sites, the rooms were clean, and breakfast was fantastic. Highly recommend!

We were surprised and touched when the staff upgraded us to a senior suite. They were kind and professional throughout, and the room was spotless with all the amenities we needed, a walk-in closet, and a spacious bathroom. The dining was excellent too: we loved both the rooftop restaurant's atmosphere and the downstairs restaurant, and the food was truly delicious. The location made everything easy, with a short walk to Trevi Fountain and the lively shopping streets. We had a wonderful, memorable stay and can't wait to return.
