Hotel Dharma Luxury Hotel

The hotel's location is quite good, with easy access to things while sitting just outside the busiest tourist center. The staff were extremely friendly and professional, and the room had a nice design. I had a very mixed four-night stay, though, largely because of the noise. I paid extra for a refundable rate but was put on the first floor over the restaurant, facing a construction site. Restaurant music came through loudly every evening from 7 PM to 11 PM, and construction woke me every morning except Sunday. The hotel seemed empty, but my requests to change rooms were refused. It was impossible to relax or sleep. I understand some issues are outside the hotel's control, but for a recurring problem like this I'd expect soundproof windows. There were a few maintenance oversights, a hole in the bedding and a stained towel, though these were taken care of quickly. The evening aperitif was a nice idea, but the drink choice was poor, just wine or prosecco, and the food wasn't replenished, so it wasn't worth the effort. I'd skip the average hotel breakfast and try Rome's many amazing local options instead. If you can get a room on a higher floor away from the front, this hotel has potential. Otherwise, expect significant disturbances.

We really enjoyed our stay, especially how welcoming and attentive everyone was. They even put together a nice breakfast to take with me for my early morning flight. There’s a good restaurant right next door for meals throughout the day, and the hotel is close to the main sights, shopping areas, buses, trams, and the metro. A lovely way to finish my trip to Italy!

Being able to walk to so many major sights and museums made the location ideal. The metro and central railway stations were also within walking distance, which made our day trip to Herculaneum enjoyable. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the attached restaurant served good food with good service at a reasonable price. We loved Rome. Thanks to everyone at the hotel.

We spent four days here while visiting Rome. When we left early for excursions, the staff packed pastries and water for us since we’d miss breakfast. And when we did eat there, breakfast was very good. The service and staff were incredible. I’ll stay here again on a future visit.
