The rooms were quiet, with no sounds from neighboring rooms, and I appreciated the small complimentary gifts. The modern hotel is in a fantastic location, the staff are friendly, and the room was cleaned every day. I only learned about the hotel's sustainability program from an email with the stay review form after our visit. If skipping room cleaning on some days was an option, I’d probably have chosen it, but we weren’t told about it during our stay, if it was available. The paid early check-in policy was off-putting. If the room is ready, I don’t think guests should be asked for an extra 50 Euros, or at least 40, to get in early. In the end, we got the keys about 45 minutes before check-in time, which was nice. From what the receptionist said, paid early check-in was hotel policy, since she said she’d let us in “if she could.”

The only small issue was hearing the water circulation all the time, though it wasn’t very annoying. The staff upgraded us to a spacious room so we’d have enough room for our luggage, and John supported us throughout the stay. The rooms were clean, and the location was amazing, with attractions and shops within walking distance. This was one of the best hotels we stayed at on our Italy trip.

The reception staff were very kind and sorted out a booking issue for me. The rooms are spacious and recently refurbished, with a coffee machine in the room, which is handy if, like me, you need caffeine before you can even get out of bed. The hotel is on a quiet, romantic street, but close to all the famous places. Love this hotel!

Greta at the front desk was so sweet. She marked places to see on a map and arranged taxis when we needed them. The whole staff greeted us with smiles each day and asked what we’d seen and if there was anything they could do to make things better. On arrival, they welcomed us warmly and offered coffee while we waited for the room. The room itself was beautiful and clean. Before we arrived, Annalisa had kindly answered all my questions by email and helped arrange transport from FCO to the hotel, then to our cruise port, which was over an hour away. The hotel is on a lovely cobbled street in a nice neighborhood, just a two-minute walk from the Spanish Steps. Breakfast each morning was a highlight, with a big selection of Italian breads and treats as well as eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, and plenty of other choices. We were blown away. This was our first trip to Italy and Rome, and after all our online research, we’re already planning to come back next year.
