I made my reservation through Agoda, but when I arrived they said they didn't work with them and had no booking left. The receptionist was aggressive. I asked for a note confirming they don't work with Agoda so I could have proof for a refund, and he became even more hostile. I don't recommend this place.

The location was the one thing my whole family liked. Termini Metro Station is about a five-minute walk away, and Roma Termini Railway Station is around four minutes away. It's a major station, like Rome's Central Station. We paid 4 Euro to leave our bags there, which was still better than putting them on this hotel's stairs. The rooms were extremely dirty, especially the beds, which felt like they hadn't been cleaned at all and were unpleasant to sleep in. There was dust everywhere. Service was almost nonexistent, and when we checked out and asked to store our luggage, they just said to leave it on the stairs. The receptionist was very rude. The lift was slow and its doors had to be opened by hand. My son raced up the stairs while my husband and I took the lift, and he beat me, which gives you an idea of how old the building felt. The orange juice tasted like food poisoning. A few hours later I had to use the hotel's stinky bathroom and vomited. My husband went to the bathroom too, but held off vomiting for three hours. My son drank milk that was cold despite being labeled hot, and we all tried a sausage, the only thing that tasted okay. We rated it acceptable, then went somewhere else for lunch. The photos below show the hotel's actual condition and where the bags are stored. Don't come here if you want to avoid getting sick and having unpleasant service.

The front desk staff were welcoming, and the room itself was decent, with a comfortable bed, linens, a large bathroom, and air conditioning. It was a bit dirty, but that's what you might expect at a three-star hotel. Breakfast was just okay, with pastries and coffee. It's near the train station, so nights can be noisy and the area may feel a little unsafe. You get what you pay for here, about what I'd expect from a three-star hotel.

The staff were welcoming, and the hotel's location near Rome's main train station makes getting around by train convenient. Breakfast was mediocre, and we got quite small plates, though the coffee machine was good and had lots of choices, including a delicious hot chocolate. Our room felt cramped and wasn't very spacious. We also found a questionable item in the large cupboard. There weren't many power sockets, so I'd bring extension cables. The duvets were very thin, probably a problem in winter but fine for Rome's hot summers. The room itself was warm, so I suggest opening the window. There are spare pillows in the cupboard, which helps since the pillows provided are thin. The beds seemed hard at first but became quite comfortable after a while. The bathroom was reasonable and the shower worked perfectly. In room 303, the shower door slanted a little, and a pipe was slightly dislodged, but it wasn't anything to worry about. The toilet flush is loud, the bathroom door doesn't lock, and the toilet seat is too small for the bowl. Also, the switch right next to the toilet isn't the flush. To my dismay, it sent a painful jet of concentrated water at the back of the bowl, so be careful when sitting down.

After decades of traveling, this is the worst place I've stayed. The room photos were very misleading, and I couldn't even open my room door. There was a strange smell that wouldn't go away, maybe sewage from the drains. An air freshener wouldn't cost much. The towels were thin table covers, I'm not making that up. The shower stall was by far the smallest I've seen in the EU, had no soap tray, and the shower head kept falling. Breakfast was two-day-old croissants. To top it off, rude staff kept harassing me to pay the cash city fee every time I came in or went out.
