Domus Alexander by Ghor

We spent three days at Simon s Guest House as a family of four. The rooms had enough space for all of us, and the receptionist was friendly and very helpful from the moment we arrived. The location and area were great, with the train taking up to about 20 minutes. We’d recommend it and would stay again.

We knew from checking the map that it would take around 30 minutes by tram to reach the center, so the distance was expected. The room was much more spacious and comfortable than we expected, and we nearly wanted to stay in instead of going out. The facilities were fantastic, and when we arrived very late, the staff made check-in easy and were very accommodating.

The staff made us feel very welcome, and the women working there were especially lovely and helpful. The guesthouse is clean, cozy, and quiet enough for a good night’s sleep, with good Wi-Fi. Our room had what we needed, including a refrigerator, TV, hair dryer, and cosmetics. They speak English, Italian, and Ukrainian. Buses run all night, so getting back is easy; it’s very close to bus and streetcar stops, about seven minutes by bus to the metro, and roughly 15 minutes by bus to Termini train station or Tiburtina bus station. Shops and bakeries nearby make it easy to get coffee and pastries for breakfast. The apartment is very affordable for the quality. We’ll definitely return. Simon was friendly, helpful, and full of useful tips about Rome and the sights. The rooms are spacious, clean, and really modern.
