Domus Cestia

They transferred me to a different area. They seemed to think the conditions there were better, but for me it was a major downgrade. The WiFi didn’t work, the conditions weren’t improved, and the highway was very noisy. You can find much better options in this city for less money.

The breakfast was delicious, and the woman who greeted me was kind and helpful. My room was quiet. The downside was the bathroom, which had a chemical toilet that didn’t flush properly.

The mother and daughter, Christina, were very friendly, but that didn’t make up for the stay. The room was tiny, with no shower or toilet in it, and it was far from clean. The kitchen wasn’t clean either. We had to make our own tea or coffee, and there was only jam to put on one loaf of bread for three days. This isn’t really a hotel, despite being presented as a B&B. We were staying among students in a student house. After we complained, they cleaned the place thoroughly, but I wouldn’t recommend Domus Cestia.

The woman running this B&B was very kind and gave us helpful recommendations for places to eat. Public transportation is easy to reach from the excellent location. I highly recommend it.
