We had everything we needed, and the room was lovely, with a great view, nice design, and plenty of space in both the room and bathroom. The location was fantastic, about a 15-minute walk from everything. My one small complaint is that we could hear staff moving in and out of other rooms early in the morning, before 09:00.
In mid-July, with temperatures at 38 degrees, the air conditioning in our room didn't work. Customer service was rude and made fun of me when I called. They couldn't move us to a room with working AC while ours was being fixed, and it took two days to repair. After one night, I had to leave because the room was even hotter than outside. They never called after I left to say whether it had been fixed. I asked for a refund for the nights I paid for but didn't stay, and they refused, offering just 72€ out of 740€. That's ridiculous and extremely rude. This was their mistake, and they failed to fix it or handle it professionally.
We spent an hour searching for the building with our luggage in the heat because there was no hotel name at the entrance, and even the neighbors didn't know the place existed. Reaching customer service was difficult, and the person on the chat wasn't friendly. There's also no staff permanently on site or emergency contact number, which is a problem for a hotel calling itself “luxury.”
The room was clean and comfortable, and we had a nice view. Buses to the historic district run frequently nearby. Noise insulation was the one issue.
I'd definitely recommend it.
