We gave this little place another try after our first stay, which had been horrible: it was dirty and smelled bad. In the meantime, the Cottage had changed owners, and the difference was clear this time. It was clean and lovely, with new furniture. The new owners were kind and accommodating. The Cottage is in a wonderful part of Monteverde, close to Trastevere, and the street felt quiet and safe at night. My dear and I recommend staying here. Maurice.

My boyfriend and I spent a weekend in Rome here. The place was clean and cozy, the service was nice, and the location was great. We had a lovely stay, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone.

There’s a bus stop right outside this small, romantic hotel in the heart of Monteverde Vecchio. Gianicolo Hill is just steps away, and Trastevere is about 10 minutes away. It’s a welcoming spot that seems especially well suited to young couples visiting the capital. Breakfast and wine are included, and the manager was friendly and helpful.

Although it’s in a historic, artistic neighborhood, the apartment is very quiet. It’s well kept and has an excellent location, with good connections to the historic center.

It’s a small, pleasant holiday apartment, and the landlord is very accommodating and glad to help if anything comes up. You’re not quite in the center, but getting there is easy, either on foot or by bus from right outside the door.
