Efes Hôtellerie

Michael and Sebastian made our stay at Efes Hôtellerie feel especially welcoming. Michael checked that we had clean rooms, fresh sheets and towels, and help whenever we had questions. The hotel has a fantastic feel, modern and newly restored, and it’s just a short way from the main tourist areas. The bedding was extremely comfortable, and the thoughtful extras included capsule coffee, English breakfast tea, bottled water, a mini fridge, a hairdryer, and hand lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and body cream that smelled divine. We’d definitely come back.

My room was really quiet, and everything was very clean. The staff were super friendly, too. It’s a minimal, cool place, up one flight in a building with no sign.

The owner and staff were so friendly and helpful, and their recommendations made our time in Rome easier. The location worked really well, with many top sights just a short walk away, including the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain, and Spanish Steps. Our room had a calm feel from the soft modern colors, minimalist design, and natural light. We’d happily stay at Efes Hôtellerie again and recommend it to other visitors.

Michael deserves a special thank you. He handled things as our contact and organizer, and was always available, approachable, friendly, reliable, and engaged. We were pleasantly surprised by the hostelleria. You have to go through a long corridor after entering through an almost hidden street door before its beauty becomes clear. Our triple room suited our taste for minimalism and comfort. It was well equipped for the limited space, though it could get a bit messy on a stay longer than two nights. There isn’t much storage, wardrobe space, or a coat rack.
