Frattina FF italian suites

We were so unhappy that we lost faith in what the host was offering and found somewhere else at short notice, at additional cost. When I contacted the host, he was completely unhelpful. He had our money, didn’t care, and offered no solutions. It felt like he was just out to make money from tourists and ruin our stay in Rome. Avoid this overpriced accommodation. It’s in disgusting condition, and you will be disappointed. The room was tiny, nowhere near what I’d call a suite. It felt like bargain-basement student or stag accommodation sold at an exorbitant price. We were shown a dirty room at check-in and told we could leave our bags because the room wasn’t ready. We went sightseeing for a few hours. By the time we came back that evening, it had been cleaned and prepared, but the condition was still appalling for the price. The pictures say more than words can, but the walls were badly marked with suitcase scuffs, the outside handle on the suite door was broken and hanging off, and the bathroom’s outer handle was completely missing. There was filthy-looking dirt, burn, or water damage around the sink, and the outside of the shower was filthy. The air conditioning barely worked, and a strong cheap-cleaner smell seemed to be covering up a rotten stench. Giving Frattina FF Italian Suites one star is already one star more than it deserves. Avoid this place and host at all costs.

The suite was neat and in a great central spot, just a short walk from trevi fountain and the other main places. Fabio was very helpful and accommodating.

The rooms were nice and the Wi-Fi worked well. The owners were friendly, and the location was perfect in central rome.

A good spot. If all you need is a bed and a shower, this place works.
