Glam Sm Maggiore Guest House

Our reservation was canceled, and Gloria didn’t explain what had actually happened. We then spent about a day trying to find somewhere else to stay and get the cancellation fee refunded. Before that, we’d asked to change our dates and for a chance to check in late, but she said she wasn’t responsible for helping us or being more accommodating. She also said our planning was awful, even though we’d taken the only flight available from our city to Fiumicino. I found her extremely rude and unhelpful, the worst manager or owner I’ve dealt with as a tourist. I hope the place shuts down. Travelers, please don’t book this miserable, cramped place.

I enjoyed my stay. The guest was really nice, and the location made it easy to walk to all the landmarks. The view of st maria magiorre was especially beautiful.

We missed a train and arrived after 8 p.m., and they canceled our reservation while keeping our 500€. It’s unbelievable that a place calling itself a “hotel” would refuse to welcome guests after 8. The host was the rudest I’ve ever dealt with. What a scam. I hope you go bankrupt, maleducata.

The rooms were clean, had everything we needed, and looked out toward one of Rome’s major basilicas. The neighborhood felt safe and was handy for buses, Termini Station, and the metro. Gloria was helpful and kind from the booking through our goodbye, and took time to explain what was nearby. We had a great experience.
