Gonfalone 6

We felt at home at Gonfalone 6. The rooms were spacious, large, and equipped with everything we needed, and the whole staff were wonderful. Service and hospitality were outstanding. There are excellent cafes only a 3-minute walk away, and many points of interest nearby. We had an amazing stay and highly recommend the hotel!

The staff were courteous, polite, and eager to help. We asked if we could leave our luggage for a few hours after checkout, but they offered us a late checkout instead. I've traveled extensively and haven't experienced that kind of hospitality before. Our room was a bit small but more than adequate for central Rome, and the AC, TV, and bathroom all worked perfectly. The location was excellent: if you're comfortable walking 30 minutes each way, you can reach most of Rome's attractions without public transport. There are also loads of restaurants, cafes, sights, and shops within a 5-10 minute walk.

We barely needed transport because so many of the main sights were an easy walk away. Our room was clean, with a roomy, comfortable bed and enough space for two. The reception isn't staffed overnight, but we got the entry details before arriving, and help was available well ahead of our stay if we needed it.

The bathroom had plenty of space, and the hotel team were warm and helpful throughout our stay. It’s near the centre, on a calmer street that felt more relaxed.
