Hassler Roma

For my wife’s birthday, we had a fabulous lunch at the Hassler Hotel in Rome today. The setting is iconic and the food was amazing, but the staff made it especially memorable. Everyone treated us like royalty, particularly Nicola in the bar. The Hassler’s reputation really lives up to its name. Thank you to all who made the visit and her birthday so special, especially Nicola and Andrea. Highly recommended.

We arrived at the Hassler Roma to warm, attentive, professional service, and our room paired classic historic style with modern luxury. The hotel sits right at the top of the Spanish Steps, with breathtaking panoramic views over the Eternal City. Dinner at Michelin-starred Imàgo was a highlight. Watching the sunset over St. Peter's Basilica while having world-class food is a memory I’ll cherish. The hotel feels like a legendary landmark, and our stay captured Roman elegance beautifully. If you want perfection in the heart of Rome, I highly recommend it.

I only had one night at The Hassler, less than 24 hours to take it all in, and I wish I’d had longer. This place deserves more time. The Michelin starred restaurant on the 6th floor offers a culinary experience that rivals anywhere in Europe. Every dish felt like a masterpiece, served in an atmosphere of classic sophistication. Perched above the Spanish Steps, the hotel also has some of Rome’s most breathtaking views, worth the visit on their own. From arrival, everything feels elegant, refined, and steeped in history. The Hassler really is timeless opulence.

Antonina at reception helped me when I was sick from the flight. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived early in the morning, but she immediately found a hospitality room where I could rest. She walked us to the breakfast area, then came back to escort us upstairs. After that long, difficult plane ride, what she did that morning made all the difference. I’m so grateful for her kindness and wish her the best in the future. We spent two days at The Hassler recently, and its reputation is deserved. I agree with all the lovely things others have said.
