Everything was as it should be, and the location was great.

The room's black mold was affecting our health, so after two nights we reported it to Booking.com. We then noticed how filthy the corners were, and the staff got angry with us for complaining. They harassed and insulted us, even calling from their personal phones. We were two young women traveling alone and felt our safety was at risk, so we left before the booking was over. We had paid as customers and felt unsafe for standing up for our rights. This was the worst hotel stay of my life, and I think people should be wary of the ratings, which seem fake to me. The place is on the fifth floor of an old building, with no signs at the entrance and no 24-hour reception. We had asked them to wait because we'd arrive a few minutes after midnight, but when we got there at 12:20 AM, nobody was there. With no cell service, we stood outside for 40 minutes unsure what to do, then went to a kiosk to get help and internet access. It showed no respect or consideration for guests. If you're thinking of booking, don't. The staff were rude and disrespectful, and didn't act like the professional hotel team you'd expect.

The worst “hotel.” I absolutely don't recommend it. I booked months ahead and guaranteed the payment with my card. During the week of the stay, they suddenly said the card was invalid, even though I checked the details and they were correct. They rejected a second card too, then cancelled my reservation out of the blue two days before the stay. I called, but they took a long time to answer, acted like they didn't know what I was talking about, barely spoke English, and never called back. Avoid going there if you rely on owners like this.

The rooms were roomy and bright, with a big shower in the bathroom. It's also just a short walk from Termini Station, which made getting around easy. The staff were warm and friendly. I was really pleased with my choice and will book here again on my next Rome trip.
