We had trouble getting the deposit back after the reservation was canceled. The whole change of property felt suspicious from the start. On arrival day, while we were on our way, we were suddenly told there was a “malfunction” in our room’s bathroom. Almost right away, they offered another property about five minutes from the original hotel. We suggested checking in later that evening so they could fix the problem, but they said repairs would take three days, which was hard to believe. We checked reviews of the new place and saw its Google rating was nearly one star lower than the hotel we had booked, and it was cheaper. We contacted Booking.com, which clearly annoyed the man handing over the keys. He was rude. After a heated discussion lasting a few minutes, we got a small discount. I decided to share this because similar stories have been reported about the other apartment where we ended up staying.

The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, with lots of cafes, restaurants, and shops nearby. It was an easy walk to the metro and a short ride from Termini. My room was clean, the service was great, and the host was helpful and quick to communicate. I stayed here twice on my trip to Italy and would gladly come back.

We could get to the Colosseum in under 30 minutes, and the Libia Metro station was very close. Nomentana Station was also nearby, which made arriving from the airport easy. The neighborhood was really quiet, and we appreciated the restaurant suggestions. The room was perfect, with clear instructions for the building, and communication was always quick and open. We were very happy with the service and would come back for sure.

The owner was always ready to help during the day and treated us like friends. The place was clean, spacious, and cozy, and I thought it was well worth the price. I'd definitely come back to enjoy the comfort here and see more of Rome.

We booked two rooms and everything went smoothly. The host even changed one room from a double to two single beds for us. Breakfast had a good variety, and we could use the kitchen and fridge whenever we wanted. The place was quiet and felt safe, with restaurants, a supermarket, and all sorts of businesses close by. The B line metro is about 5-10 minutes away and connects to Termini and the historic center.
