Hotel Rinascimento

We were practically in the basement, with no natural light, and the room smelled of mould. The breakfast was below par, though the woman running the kitchen was lovely and clearly working incredibly hard with what she had. This hotel was terrible. We'd give zero stars if we could.

The view at the church was stunning, and Alessandra and the rest of the staff were very helpful. I was there with my family in law and still enjoyed the stay. It's a great place. The hotel itself was amazing, though breakfast felt a little overpriced. I'd give it 3.6, not great, not terrible.

The people here made the whole trip feel special. Suzy was so patient and helpful, going above and beyond with everything we needed. Olga was attentive and knew so much about Rome. Our taxi driver Paolo was kind, courteous, and knowledgeable too. Two staff members in particular went way beyond what we expected, and we really felt we'd made friends, almost family, in Rome. We'll be back as soon as life allows. The rooms were clean, the bed was super comfortable, and we had a view. Breakfast was perfect. I've traveled all over the world, and this was one of the best experiences I've ever had, with the best hotel staff service I've received.

Our ground-floor room wasn't to our liking, but they moved us up to the third floor, which was great. The place is well located and nicely designed. I also liked the slippers, argan-oil cosmetics, complimentary water and soda, and plenty of outlets, including USB sockets by the beds.
