Hotel Tempio Di Apollo

Horrendous stay. The “Manager/Owner” was abrupt, rude, obnoxious, and downright horrible. My three girlfriends and I were walking the Via Francigena from Montefiascone to Rome, and Orbis Ways booked this place for us. Every other accommodation had served breakfast at half 7, but he said he couldn't do that because he had children and that it would have to be 8. He said he'd leave breakfast out for us, but all we got was one tiny pre-wrapped croissant and three thermos jugs of tea, coffee, and milk. The tea and coffee were cold, clearly prepared the night before. Both our rooms flooded after a thunderstorm that afternoon. The bedspread had soaked up the water, but he never changed it. The rooms and bathrooms were dusty and dirty. I could go on, but it's making me angry. Please don't stay here.

The owners are very kind, and their sausage sandwich is incredible. I stopped by their coffee shop, which is only open on weekends, while hiking or biking around the beautiful sites at Isola Farnese. The view of the church and Castle is a bonus.

Absolutely avoid this place. The accommodation was the worst ever. It's outdated, the TV is tiny, there's no hot water, and any services they claim to offer are pretty much nonexistent. And the hits just keep coming.

It's a basic hotel, but the staff are friendly and nice. The place is unique.
