Hotel VM

We ended up here at the last minute after the hotel we’d booked cancelled when we arrived. In the middle of the night, the owner drove from home to check us in. He was very friendly and went out of his way to help. The room was clean and comfortable, with a useful fridge and kettle. You can tell the staff take pride in caring for the building and rooms and want guests to enjoy Rome. They let us leave our luggage securely after checkout and gave us tips for the trip. The location is great, the stay was comfortable, and the cost very reasonable. I’d definitely stay again if I’m back in Rome.

Small and cozy, with a romantic feel, this hotel is close to Vatican City and plenty of shops and restaurants. A nice little place if you want a taste of Rome.

We stayed overnight while passing through Rome from Amalfi on the way to Venice, and would stay here again. The room was clean, comfortable, and cozy. It’s conveniently located near the Vatican, restaurants, and the train station, and gated parking was a plus. Anthony and Josie were welcoming and courteous, and Anthony helped us sort out some logistics, which made the stay especially pleasant.

There’s a bus stop right outside, and St. Peter’s Basilica is only 500 meters away, so sightseeing was easy. Across the street, a friendly souvenir shop owner made browsing the affordable items a pleasure. There’s also a restaurant next door with delicious food, a nice place to unwind after exploring. The hotel was clean and well maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere. We had a memorable family stay, and the manager was very accommodating, personally driving us to and from the airport. Hospitality, location, and nearby amenities made the whole visit comfortable and enjoyable. A great choice when travelling with family.
