The location is great, just a few steps from Piazza Navona, and getting into the room when we arrived was easy. The employees were very nice and efficient. Our room was comfortable, modern, and spacious, with a really good kitchen-living room, a huge bathroom with a tub, and a separate shower in the room.

Coming back each evening felt just like moving in for the first night all over again. Our room, Rio, was lovely, clean, and compact, with a great little en suite bathroom, and we'd definitely visit again. Finding the place and getting in was tricky unless you read your emails carefully. The building is so discreet it almost blends in.

This place wasn't worth the cost. We felt misled by the information on the site, and the owner didn't reimburse us. There's no front desk or staff to help, and getting into the building was very difficult. Even after several written instructions from the site, we needed another set to enter the property. Guests can't use the elevator. We started up two high floors by a narrow, steep staircase, and halfway up with our luggage we decided to abandon the place.

The location was great, but there are better, legitimate places nearby, and getting luggage up two difficult flights of stairs was a struggle. This is not a B&B or hotel: there was never any staff, and the hall and "reception desk" were full of laundry. They kept emailing and calling to ask me to send my passport before arrival. I arranged to arrive during their stated 2pm to 8pm operating hours, but instead got instructions to unlock the building, then the so-called hotel, then the box with my room key. After sightseeing, I found the room safe open with its lock bars out. Nothing had been taken, but no one ever asked me for my passport again.

It's more Airbnb-style than a hotel, and there are lots of stairs. There is an elevator, but guests can't use it.
