There isn't breakfast on site, though Mr. Alessio had vouchers for the bar downstairs. The room itself felt clean and welcoming, and the B&B is new. I did miss a few small things in the courtesy kit, like slippers, which are usually in the room, and a shower cap. Those little details can help guests feel more at home. I'd recommend the place.

We were meant to check in at noon but couldn't get into the room until 5 pm because it wasn't ready. Nobody apologized for the delay. The B&B seems badly organized with bookings, and after several calls it was hard to get in touch with anyone. They called the room clean, but the sheets had a pink mark of some kind and there were dust particles. It's a long way from the center, and at that quality and price, it isn't worth it. I strongly wouldn't recommend it.

More than a month ahead, I booked for four adults, then heard nothing from the owner. I called three hours before we were due to arrive. He first said there was no booking, then called back to say he only had a room for two adults and two children. He made no effort to fix the problem and canceled instead, leaving all four of us stuck. With the G20 on, I couldn't find another place in Rome. By luck, I found somewhere in Umbria. Absolutely no professionalism.

I liked the room, which had its own bathroom and came with coffee and tea. It was very clean, in a lovely, peaceful neighborhood, and public transport was right there.
