The bed was firm but comfortable, the hotel was clean and pleasant, and the price was reasonable. They kindly arranged a taxi pickup for us, and the fare was fair. We also had free WiFi and could walk to the Vatican Museum entrance in about 20 minutes.

The hotel is in a lived-in neighborhood with lots of good restaurants nearby, not an overly touristy area. It's about a 15-minute walk to the Vatican and five minutes to the metro, which runs every three minutes towards central sights like the Pantheon and Colosseum. A ride costs 1.5€ for 100 minutes, payable at the station by cash or card. There are also three lovely viewpoints within walking distance, and they weren't crowded. We stayed the last week of February with two friends. Lorey, who handles the cleaning, is an absolute gem and does a great job. The receptionists were exceptionally friendly and helpful, and all spoke English fluently. Thanks for making the vacation so great, we'd happily recommend the place.

We were there for three days in April 2022, and would happily return. The room and bathroom were lovely, there was access to an outdoor terrace, and the room was cleaned every day. The staff were friendly and shared local recommendations. It had a fridge and safe too. Nights felt a bit cold, but that might be nice in summer. You can hear a little from other rooms, though it wasn't an issue for us.

The location is handy, next to the Cipro underground, and the rooms were clean enough, though pretty drab. It's fine if you just need somewhere to drop your bags before exploring, but anyone looking for a proper hotel experience should look elsewhere. There's no staff here around the clock, and the reception hours need to be made clear. If something went wrong, you'd be on your own. A week before arrival, this was the late check-in information they sent. It should be shared when booking. Check-in is 14:00 to 18:00. Arrivals outside those hours need to be requested and confirmed. After reception closes, check-in until 21:00 costs 10 euros, and until midnight it's 20 euros. Airport arrivals between 21:00 and midnight are accepted only using their taxi service. Check-in from midnight to 1:00 costs 40.00€, and after 1:00 it's not possible. They ask you to confirm you'll pay the late fee and provide your flight number in case of delays. So if your flight gets delayed past midnight, you could arrive in Rome and have no hotel, despite having booked this one. That's bad news for a family. The taxi is €55 and has to be booked through Innvatican. There's also a fee for being late, and they apparently only take cash for that.
