The room was comfortable and had what I needed, and the staff were really friendly. They answered my questions about directions and recommendations. The location makes it easy to get around Rome. I had a wonderful stay at hotel Piazza di Spagna, thank you!

Dates traveled: July 25-28, 2025 This wasn't what we expected or what we'd consider US hotel standards. Our flight was canceled, so we arrived a day late and told the hotel, but the owner charged us for that night anyway. We also weren't refunded for the continental breakfast we'd paid for, even though it was provided through a voucher with a local vendor. The room and bathroom were extremely small. There was a queen bed and desk, while the safe sat on a low shelf inside a wardrobe in a very dark spot. The shower was hard to turn around in, and the water barely got warm. The air conditioning was stuck at a freezing 17 Celsius and its thermostat didn't work properly. The manager also wanted cash for extra hotel taxes. I'd suggest choosing another hotel.

A lovely surprise was the room's beautiful terrace, looking out over the roofs of Rome. The hotel had also left a bottle of prosecco for our anniversary, which made it even nicer. Check-in was extremely helpful, and everything had been great from the moment we arrived. Do try breakfast, it's excellent, small but good quality, with everything you need. Thanks again!

Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and I felt well looked after. I've traveled to different parts of Europe, but this stay really stuck with me. The location is hard to beat, one street in from the Spanish Steps, with brand-name shops, restaurants, and souvenir stores close by. The streets were lively at night, but I never felt unsafe. My room was clean, comfortable, and spacious enough. I learned that twin rooms are available even though most photos show doubles, and you can ask for one by email ahead of time. Mine had no bathtub, but there was plenty of hot water in the shower. Breakfast was good and satisfying. It starts at 7:30 AM, though an earlier start would've been even better. Thank you!
