It was a great place to stay for someone spending most of the day out in the city. This is the cheapest accommodation I found near the Vatican in Rome, so don't expect luxury at that price. The apartment has two rooms, each with its own bathroom, plus a kitchen shared between them. The owner was very nice and spoke good English. Every day he cleaned our room and restocked breakfast for the following morning: packaged toast, cornflakes, jam, and milk. The location is a real advantage. The Vatican is about a five-minute walk away, and a train station is just as close, with trains to Termini Station.

This is the third time we've stayed here, and it remains our place in Rome. The location is simple but comfortable and extremely clean. Mr. Elvio was kind and very helpful. Highly recommended.

The owner is friendly, easy to communicate with, and keen to help. He comes in daily to clean and make the beds, then leaves a packed breakfast of cornflakes, milk, juice, packaged croissants, jam, and rusks. I'm not sure daily cleaning is really my thing, though, and I missed having a microwave and an iron. Getting around is easy from here. It's close to both the Vatican and the train station, and bus routes 62 and 64 stop nearby. Many places in Rome are easy to reach, especially Termini Station, the main transport hub.

Our flight was cancelled outright because of the February 20th Istanbul snowstorm. The hotel refused to postpone our reservation because we hadn't bought the cancellation policy. They may feel they were within their rights, but to me, the lack of compassion was shameful. Other hotels sent their condolences and moved our reservations, while this one offered no help at all. Something like this could happen to anyone. After this, I'd urge Turkish citizens not to choose this hotel. It seems focused only on money.
