La Maison dell'Orologio

The room was clean and well kept. The bathroom was small, but the older property was well appointed for its age. It's a good spot on Rome's western side near Campo Marto, with a couple of restaurants along the street that looked lovely, though we ate elsewhere based on where our sightseeing took us. The host was gracious and kind, and the elevator was under construction during our stay; we were fine taking the stairs. In the common area, guests could help themselves anytime to coffee, tea, water, fruit, and snacks. In the mornings the host added local pastries, including iced croissants that were lovely before a long day of walking. The walk to Palatine Hill and the Colisseum isn't too far, though Rome is surprisingly large and I walked more than expected. Bring comfortable shoes. A charming place to stay while visiting Rome, highly recommended.

A hidden gem on the second floor, with amazing staff and an excellent breakfast included. The location is cracking. The rooms were a little noisy, but I'd definitely stay again.

What stood out most was the staff, who were so kind and really wanted to make our whole Rome visit a good one, not just the hotel part. We were centrally placed between Castel Sant'Angelo and Piazza Navona, and the room had the basics in a simple, stylish setup: a comfy bed, sofa, dresser, TV, and AC, plus a private bathroom with a shower and bidet. The entrance and staircase felt like a scene from a Taken or Jason Bourne movie, mysterious but kind of exciting. A hidden gem if you want to be close to everything and feel the heartbeat of Rome.

It's a 3-star B&B, not a 5-star hotel, but the service and location are 5-star. The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. There's a free corner for snacks, coffee, and water, and luggage storage is an added plus.
