Our beds felt a little too firm for us, though the location was great and the Easter price was very good compared with nearby hotels. The staff on site were excellent, friendly, and helpful. We had a leak one evening, and they sorted it out quickly and efficiently.

The owners and housekeeper were so pleasant and made us feel at home. Our room was spotlessly clean, and we loved our three-night stay at this fantastic little hotel. It’s around three minutes from the Termani train station, with good train and bus connections if you want them. The Colosseum and other landmarks are about a 15-minute walk away. We’ll be back!

The location was the one saving grace. We’d booked a twin room, but the AC quit halfway through our first night during a very hot summer. The next morning, hardly any water came out of the shower. Since they couldn’t fix the AC, we asked to move rooms. They put us in a room with a king bed and refused to change it to twins because they’d finished work for the day. They told us, “change it yourself if you want to”. We had another uncomfortable night, and the beds still weren’t changed for our third night. There was no kettle in the room either, even for basic hot water. Probably one of my worst hotel experiences.

We picked this place mainly because it’s so close to Termini Railway station. The owner had agreed before our trip that we could leave our bags there while we went to Florence, which was a great help. Since it was our first time in Rome, we had lots of questions, and they answered them promptly. The location is convenient, and you can walk to most attractions if you don’t mind walking. The WIFI was excellent, the best we had across the three hotels we stayed in. There’s a coffee machine with unlimited tea and coffee, plus a toaster. The English B'Fast was good, though it’s the same menu every day. We enjoyed it, but if you’re staying more than 5 days, bear that in mind. If you arrive after 3:00PM, you have to check yourself in. Get clear instructions first, because you need to ring the right bell at the door so the hotel staff can open it when you arrive. This is common in many Rome hotels. There’s heating in the room and bathroom, but the room heater didn’t work during our stay. We didn’t mind too much.
