The spa was a letdown, especially since we'd booked the hotel for access and paid extra. The steam room smelled bad and didn't feel clean, the sauna seemed unstable, and the hot tub was barely warmer than bath water. The whole wellness area felt poorly maintained. The staff were friendly, and when we arrived they immediately moved us from a room with a strong, nauseating smell. The second room had no smell, but there was visible water damage throughout. The bathroom was tiny, and the shower clogged so fast it became a bath within minutes. I regret not taking pictures. The hotel wasn't awful, but it looked nothing like the photos and felt neglected. Three stars feels generous. I wouldn't stay again or recommend it.

The breakfast had a great range of hot and cold choices, and the free wellness spa, with a sauna, steam shower, and jacuzzi, was a lovely extra after a day exploring. Our room was comfortable and quiet, and the lobby had a fun, stylish feel, lively but still relaxed. The staff were welcoming and exceptionally friendly from the moment we arrived. Leon’s Place in Rome exceeded all my expectations. Highly recommend it!

We stayed in September 2025, and the location made exploring easy, just a few blocks from the train station. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and tub. Everyone on staff was pleasant and helpful, booking taxis, finding restaurants, and getting us things we needed. We also loved the atmosphere at the lobby bar. We'd definitely stay again.

The staff were kind and helpful before and throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the multilingual receptionist. The room and bathroom were spacious, though there was no proper window, and the towels and robes were nice. The spa room was very warm and made for relaxing. It was a good stay, but the window, some confusion with the taxi driver at the end, and the location brought it to four stars. The area felt safe, but it was a little far from the center and tourist attractions.

We arrived early and they still checked us in. For my husband's birthday, they kindly sent a bottle of wine to our room. The staff were very friendly and helpful. There are lots of great restaurants and Gelato places nearby, and most historical spots are about a 30-minute walk from the hotel.
