Leone Vatican House

We were two couples and stayed four nights in this spotless, warm, cozy apartment. It has three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a hall. One bedroom has a double bed and private bathroom, another has a sofa bed, and the third has two single beds. The heating stayed on 24/7, and we didn’t need the air conditioning. The included breakfast was one coffee and one croissant per person at the cafe just downstairs, which was very convenient. The location is excellent, with a bus stop only 30 seconds away and a metro station two minutes on foot. The buses were handy for reaching several central areas. The owner and Irene, who welcomed us at check-in, were both very kind and helpful. There were a couple of downsides: the two bedrooms facing the main road don’t have good sound insulation, so we could hear street noise at night. They also don’t provide toiletries like shampoo or shower gel, or extra toilet paper beyond the two rolls in each bathroom. Those can be requested for an additional €10, which also includes house cleaning. We had a lovely stay, thank you.
