Lf View

The terrace view is stunning, and the apartment has a lot of potential. It’s small and close to everything, with just enough space for two, but four people would feel cramped. The elevator is tiny and old but practical. It goes to the fifth floor, then there’s another flight of stairs. A guy greeted us; he didn’t speak Italian, but we managed to understand each other. The place looks like five stars, but the rest didn’t quite match. As soon as we walked in, there was an overwhelming smell, though I couldn’t tell where it came from. The cleanliness was acceptable, not especially thorough. The couch was dirty and stained, worse than the photo suggests. The shower pressure was weak, and the hot water came and went. Every so often, a dizzying sewage smell spread from the bathroom through the apartment. We didn’t use the kitchen, which is hidden in the furniture and feels too minimalist. The price is too high for a place that needs a general refresh, including the furniture. A cracked glass was there too, and I hope it gets fixed soon. It wouldn’t take much to make this place truly exclusive.

The apartment is small, but clean, with a great location and a simple, efficient welcome from Erik. The terrace is superb, with panoramic views across Rome.

We visited in December and stayed for three nights. The owners communicated very well. We arranged a time with Eric, who met us and explained the whole apartment. It’s a lovely place for a couple, with all the extras you could ask for, including breakfast served whenever we chose and strong WiFi. The building is beautiful. The elevator is very small but does the job. It reaches the fourth floor, then you walk up a few more steps. The balcony is amazing, with a view over Rome. It’s in a fantastic location. Highly recommend.

The view was amazing.
