The location was good for getting to the metro and bus, though the streets didn't seem safe at night. The staff were helpful, but the amenities weren't good, and the stay was disappointing and uncomfortable. I was there for 3 nights with 2 adults. The bathroom was tiny. There was barely room to sit on the WC with your legs in front, and almost no space between the seat and the shower. The shower area was so cramped it was hard to move, the water pressure was terrible, the hot water wasn't steady, and the bathroom smelled awful because there was no ventilation. The air conditioning wasn't good either. There was a noisy portable air cooler in the room instead of AC, and it wasn't enough for the space. Its exhaust was connected to the window, so it couldn't be moved around. Without it, the room got humid, and the room itself wasn't well ventilated. In response to the owner's reply, stop lying. I reached the property around 11AM, and I have a transaction showing I paid the city tax around 11:20AM. No one checked the a/c units, and nobody told me how to set the shower temperature. I never insisted that I'd booked a hotel or complained to staff that it wasn't one. See photo for the bathroom and air conditioning.

It was a clean, quiet place, and the host was very friendly and knowledgeable about places to see. He gave me a map and offered things I might need during the stay. There's a book available if you want to read. The location is convenient, near the station, with places around to grab a quick bite. The apartment is inside the building. Check the contact board and ring the bell if you can't reach anyone. There's a lift, and it's a really good place to stay.

The owner was so friendly and gave us useful tips for making the most of our family visit. For our first trip to Rome, this place worked out really well: it was clean, fairly priced, had free Wi-Fi and air conditioning, and the metro was an easy walk away. The room also had a complete bathroom.

We only stayed one night, so the room was fine for that. It looked larger and brighter in the pictures, though. Filipi gave us a warm welcome, and left coffee, tea and biscuits in the room, along with a TV, kettle and fridge. The Wi-Fi was good, but the shower's hot water kept fluctuating. Since our train was much later than checkout, they let us leave our bags in the hall. There's a supermarket right beside the building.
