Ludovisi Luxury Rooms

We appreciated how quiet and uncrowded the area was during our few days in Rome. Miriam was very sweet, suggested places nearby, and seemed to really care that we enjoyed our stay. Roberto, the owner, was kind as well. Our room was clean and had everything we needed, making this a perfect place for my husband and me.

The host's limited hours were clear before check-in, and they caused us no trouble. We had a clean, comfortable, very quiet room and felt safe walking around. The hotel is near the edge of the city, just a block inside the ancient wall, but we easily walked to the Collesium and train station and explored the rest of the city on foot. It's a great little base if you'd rather stay away from the noise in the center. We were surprised by the terrible reviews because we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Roberto was very kind, and we were able to leave our bags early in the morning. We loved the room and accommodations. There's also an elevator in the building, which is handy if you're carrying heavy luggage.

We wanted to give the hotel a high rating and tried to keep an open mind, but the rooms had no air conditioning despite it being advertised. After a long day walking around Rome, the heat felt unbearable. Roberto kindly brought us a fan, which helped a little. The advertised free Wi-Fi didn't work in the rooms either. My husband and I both caught colds and couldn't rest in the heat or get online. We did find reruns of Little House on the Prairie, which kept us entertained for a bit 😂. We're feeling better now and decided to leave in the morning for somewhere more comfortable. The staff are very kind, but that can't make up for services the hotel doesn't have.
