My apartment booking through booking.com was charged successfully, but then I was notified that the hotel had cancelled it. The money was never returned. By then, months had passed since the payment, and I couldn't even get a chargeback. Don't trust them, and don't pay in advance!

The property cancelled our booking for late 2020 after I had prepaid £110 for the room. I've emailed several times since then and haven't had a single reply about getting the money back. The customer service has been extremely poor.

Don't go there or give them your credit card. They charge you twice and hack your card.
