We booked and paid in full through hotels.com several months before the trip. At check-in, they asked for a credit card, and since so much time had passed, we couldn't remember whether we'd already paid. We gave them the card because we needed somewhere to stay. The next morning, we found the original booking receipt and took it, along with the new receipt, to the front desk. They denied the charge should be reversed and gaslit us. The WhatsApp contact also stopped responding. It took several weeks to get a refund through the booking site. This hotel scammed us.

We got locked in the room on the morning of our flight home, were wrongly charged for damage, and had a terrible room with bad service. The AC didn't work, and the so-called “Queen bed” was two twin beds pushed together clumsily. The owner's photos don't match the place. Do not come here under any circumstances. It's a scam. Avoid at all costs.

We were there for two nights and thought the B&B was charming. The location was perfect, the room comfortable, and the staff pleasant to us. Breakfast was brought to our room. It was basic, but we had no complaints. I'm not sure what the other reviews are talking about!

The front desk isn't staffed after 7pm, so getting into the building means messaging them on WhatsApp and waiting for a reply. It took over an hour to get from the front door to my room. Early in the morning, someone kept banging on a door for more than an hour and woke me up. When I left, the person at the front desk, who seemed obviously like a junky, started begging me for 7 euros. This was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. Sure, you can see a corner of the Colosseum if you lean your head out the window, but stay away!!!
