The free Italian breakfast was a nice extra, and they also put on free pasta evenings with simple additions. Nothing fancy, but I can’t complain about that. The guys at the desk were friendly and helpful, though they barely spoke English. I had a separate room, with dorm-style rooms also available. It was tidy, but worn and had a smell. The TV didn’t work, and the bathroom badly needed plumbing work. It wasn’t a bad stay overall, with no major issues, but you get what you pay for. Fine if you just need somewhere to sleep before heading out early.

The help desk guy was very helpful, but the price felt too high for what we got. The building isn’t downtown or in a good neighborhood. The restroom wasn’t clean or sanitized enough, and there was fungal growth in the shower. There was a refrigerator in the room, which was useful, but it wasn’t clean either. The city tax was ridiculously high.

For 18€ a night, you get what you pay for, I guess. The room was pretty and big enough, but the heater didn’t warm it properly. The AC only blew cool air, so even with it 10 degrees outside, we had nothing to keep the room warm. I booked for two people, but he initially asked me to pay tax for three because the room could hold three. After I talked to him, he agreed to charge tax for two.

The whole check-in was disorganized. Nobody was there when we arrived, so they had to call someone in, and the hotel was confusing to find inside an apartment building. The area was unclean and, frankly, felt unsafe. Our bed was falling apart, there was mold in the bathroom, WiFi barely reached the room, and the towels smelled like salted crackers. The $50 price turned into $100 with “taxes and fees,” and AC cost another $10. When we asked the owner about the AC charge, they told us to write a bad review, which made it clear they didn’t care about the hotel or guests’ well-being. If all you need is a place to sleep, this is the bare minimum. A one-star hotel, don’t bother.
