The host at Nice2CU turned what could have been a nightmare into one of the best parts of our trip. My wife lost her wallet on our first night in Rome and didn’t realize it. Later, while we were already in Sorrento, the host sent me a WhatsApp message with a photo of the wallet she’d found. She went out of her way to mail it to a friend in Catania, where we’d be later that week, and refused payment for her time. When we picked it up, the cash and cards were all still inside. We’ll always be grateful for her honesty and kindness, and recommend Nice2CU to anyone visiting Rome. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and full of character.

We cancelled the reservation after they refused to move our dates or offer even a partial refund. We’d booked through Expedia and our travel agent after seeing the five-star rating, but a few months later we needed to push our trip back by two weeks. They said no because they didn’t want to, and were very rude to our agent. Then, on the date we were meant to be there, two days ago, they texted us in Canada asking where we were. The team clearly had poor communication. Even if we’d been in Rome, our phones wouldn’t have worked, so we couldn’t have received the entrance code by text. That should have been sent by email or arranged well ahead of time. Extremely unhappy.

Sophie was a huge help with everything, and the place is only a short walk from the Colosseum. The rooms are well designed and prepared. We’ve stayed here twice now, first with my partner and then with my family. Super place, totally recommended! ☀️

The worst experience ever. I cried all afternoon after housekeeping threw away my luggage bag when I checked out. The person in charge had told me to leave it and lock the room, which is what I did. I never expected to have to worry about leaving my luggage at this property, even though I’d been careful about pickpockets in Rome. They tried to replace my medicine and a few snacks, and there’s a certificate they found in the bin. I can’t remember what else was in the bag. I think housekeeping may have meant to steal it, but I have no evidence. I’d avoid this property if possible.
