Breakfast is served from 8:00 to 10:00. The spread itself was fairly limited, with two kinds of cheese, one ham, and white toast, but Mrs. Adriana’s homemade cakes were delicious. Her orange and fig jams were lovely, too. You could ask for eggs cooked as an omelette, fried, scrambled, or boiled. Tea was freely available, and the coffee was good. The room was comfortable, nicely decorated, and had enough space and useful equipment. It was cleaned daily and kept neat. Otto Rooms is in an apartment on the fourth floor of a residential building in a central part of Rome, with the main sights easy to reach and shops, supermarkets, pharmacies, and restaurants close by. The elevator looks ancient, but it worked reliably. There are offices and businesses, including law firms, on other floors, so the building felt quiet and professional. The staff were warm, helpful, and professional, spoke very good English, and were ready to help with whatever we needed in a foreign city. The place had a homely feel, and the combination of the location, clean comfortable room, and kind staff made for a pleasant, relaxed stay.

We had a lovely three-night stay at Otto Rooms last month. Our Venotto room was new and clean, with a comfortable king-size bed and a great view of the park. The bathroom was spacious, with nice fixtures and a good shower. Breakfast was convenient and delightful, too. Adriana was kind and helpful, and her pastries were fantastic. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The owners were so kind, even arranging an airport transfer at the last minute. Their restaurant suggestions were right on, too. Our room at OTTO Rooms looked just like the photos, and was spacious, modern, and spotless. Breakfast was great. We had a wonderful stay and would happily return and recommend it.

We’ll book Otto Rooms again when we return to Rome. The owner let us leave our luggage there until our ride arrived at the end of the day, and the cleaning lady was welcoming and helpful. She even let us into our room early since it was ready. Breakfast runs until 10 a.m. Adriana was cheerful and accommodating, and made hot breakfast. There was fruit, cakes and bread, condiments, cereal, milk, and juice. The kitchen was very clean and well equipped. Our room was spotless and came with plenty of amenities: a coffee pot, kettle, glass mugs and cups, free bottled water, tea, coffee, and crackers. The bathroom had packaged shower caps, shampoo, a toothbrush, cotton balls, Q-tips, and a hair dryer. We stayed for three nights. The location was Pratti, plaza, across from the Christmas market with a small lake.
