Palazzo Lupardi Relais

We couldn’t make it to breakfast because our visits started early, but the host kindly offered us coffee and croissants to take along. That was amazing. The hotel is in Rome’s historic centre, within walking distance of the main tourist sights.

There’s plenty of charm in this old building, along with the modern amenities you’d want. We were allowed to leave our bags before check-in, and the room was comfortable with its own bathroom. The hotel is in the heart of Roma, with easy access to most of the city. Be ready for a lot of stairs to get there. There is an elevator, but it’s very small and only fits one guest at a time. I’d highly recommend it to a couple who wants a historic place with character and an easy route to the centre.

I loved all 12 nights here. The attic room had lovely views across Rome’s rooftops, and the stairs were manageable for me. The hotel has the charm and character I was looking for. You can walk to all the major attractions, and bus stops are very close too. A big thank you to Harrison for his exceptional manner and willingness to help, and to Zen, who was there on weekends. It felt like my home away from home in Rome.

The rooms were comfortable, and the staff were friendly. A perfect base for seeing all the sights Rome has to offer.
