I booked through Hostelworld for three people in one room, but when we arrived they charged extra for the third person. If I'd known about that fee, I would've picked somewhere else because of the price. There are two rooms sharing one bathroom, so it feels halfway between a hotel and a hostel. The employees or owners seemed to be in our room from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m., and I couldn't even tell what they were doing. The people there gave me a strange feeling. I probably wouldn't book this place again if I returned to Rome.

The location and the fountain in the courtyard were the only good things about the hotel. The tap water was awful, and I was afraid to drink the tea. As for the owner, he didn't seem to care what anyone thought and just wanted to make money. I booked through Booking.com, but he wouldn't take payment by card. Later I found out he'd canceled the whole reservation. Booking.com told me this meant he could avoid paying a commission for using their site. I don't even want to get into the rest of the hotel.
