Piazza di Spagna Comfort Rooms

Our reservation was cancelled three days before arrival, with the claim that our payment card was invalid. That was completely false: the card was valid and had enough funds, and nobody made a proper effort to sort it out. We had to scramble for another place at the last minute, which caused stress and extra costs. The whole thing felt misleading and highly unprofessional, and it left me seriously questioning how reliable this property is. If you care about your time, money, and peace of mind, don't book here. Your reservation could be cancelled at the last minute for reasons that don't make sense. Avoid this place at all costs!

The location was the only good thing. The building and rooms were really worn out, and the WiFi or phone signal barely worked. The WiFi cut out every night from 6pm to 8pm, and it seemed like they used a cheap internet provider. The bathroom drains smelled so bad we could barely breathe, so we had to leave the bedroom window open. There was mould between the shower tiles, and the duvet was placed between two sheets with no cover. For what you pay, a lot needs fixing. Definitely not three-star accommodation.

The rooftop has an amazing view, and the service was excellent, really friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and comfortable, and the place is just two minutes from the Spanish Steps. I highly recommend staying here.

The room and location were both great. We had a great time during our two-day stay. Just coordinate your arrival with them, since the desk isn't staffed around the clock, though they respond quickly.
