PIGNETO VILLAGE Roma Guest House Apartment

There’s no elevator, and the apartment is on the third floor, so heavy bags mean a workout. Roberto carried our heaviest one, though! He was quick to respond and proactive about check-in, and his local suggestions were wonderful. We tried a few and they were absolute hits. Since this was our honeymoon, he also chose a local wine for us and left a basket of fresh strawberries. Thank you, Roberto & Debora, for being so thoughtful and welcoming. The apartment itself was immaculately clean and well stocked, with a useful kitchen and washing machine. Around it, Pigneto has local artists and great aparatifs that stay open late. The neighborhood is lovely at any hour, from the morning farmers market with fresh produce to the lively crowds of young people late into the night.

I’ve stayed in this newly refurbished apartment in the heart of Pigneto whenever I come to Rome with my five-year-old son. It’s peaceful despite being right in the middle of the neighborhood. We always have a wonderful stay, with a great host and a homelike feel. I’d definitely recommend it to couples or small families.

The place is beautiful, incredibly clean and has lots of thoughtful personal touches. But what really makes it special is Roberto and his lovely partner. They’re among the few hosts who welcome people with real heart and passion. They’ve set the bar so high that I doubt I’ll enjoy another Airbnb as much. Can’t wait to come back! 😁😊
