The continental breakfast was terrific, and the atmosphere was fantastic. My room was great too, with a big outdoor balcony looking over part of the city. The bathroom was pretty cramped, as is common in Italy, but the hotel had a professional feel and the service matched.

Breakfast was really good, and the staff were friendly and ready to help. The rooms are simple and tidy. The bathrooms, though, are very small, and the layout in some of them doesn’t make much sense.

On my second visit, they shut off the water just ten minutes after we checked in, with no warning. I had to complain before I could get water to rinse the soap from my hair. They’d also turned it off overnight. The staff and breakfast selection were both average.

The hotel is clean, the rooms are good, and breakfast was nice. It’s a bit far from the center of Rome, though, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you have a disability, luggage to carry, or children traveling with you.

BED BUGS every night for the three nights I was here on a Contiki trip. The manager was rude and blamed me, saying that as an American I’d brought them over. Seriously? The rooms were small and dated too. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
