Re di roma rooftop

The building has five floors and an original elevator that I thought was super cool. From the rooftop, we had a lovely view of the piazza and city. There was some street noise from ambulances and bikes, but it didn't disturb our sleep. The room's AC was great in the July 2025 heat, around 38C, 100F. Water pressure in the WC was good, and the firm bed worked well for us. There is satellite TV, but no English-speaking channels, which is GOOD. Please watch Italian TV, the game shows, dramas and movies. Just trust me on this. The hosts, Il Sale della Terra, are genuinely nice people. We like getting to know the local area when we travel, and this felt much more personal than staying at a big brand hotel. They helped us with Italian and chatted informally about our plans and what we'd done the day before. Communication was good from the booking through our arrival in Italy, with clear directions and instructions, and we stayed in touch throughout. We also got to meet them at breakfast, which had a warm bed and breakfast feel. We don't find this kind of hospitality much in the US anymore, so it was a welcome experience. The piazza is on the A Metro line, making tourist spots accessible. Restaurants and a grocery store are within walking distance. We're a married couple around 40 from the US, seasoned EU travelers, and this was one of several stops in Italy on this trip. We each traveled with light bags. After a scam travel company left us scrambling the day before our anniversary trip to Italy, we booked Re Di Roma Rooftop on the spur of the moment to try to save our time in Rome. It turned out so well that we're leaving tomorrow feeling sad to go. The owners have been kind and responsive, with a personal touch that made our vacation special. Breakfast has been magnificent, and the place is close to the main metro line, which is easy to navigate. I'd definitely recommend Re di Roma Rooftop to anyone looking for a stay in Rome. It went beyond what we expected!

My boyfriend and I came to Rome around Easter and stayed at Re Di Roma Rooftop. The place was stunning, spotless, and tidy, and I have nothing to complain about. The owners were the sweetest and so helpful, with lots of restaurant suggestions and help arranging transfers to and from the airport. The location is great, 100m from the metro or a 40-minute walk to the city center. We had the room with a jacuzzi, which was amazing. Each morning there was a delicious, fresh typical Italian breakfast with pastries, coffee and tea. We also got to try Italian Easter food at breakfast. Stefania surprised me for my birthday, something I hadn't expected, and it was so lovely. I'm incredibly grateful. I can truly recommend this place to everyone. Everything was perfect! ❤️
