The location is excellent, but I stayed on the first floor and the sewer smell was very strong. The room was very minimal, and would have served its purpose if that smell hadn't been there. When I mentioned it at the front desk, they tried to fix it. It eased a little in the evening, then was very strong again in the morning. I asked to move to a higher floor, but they said the smell was normal in Rome. There was mold in the shower, and water stayed there while I was showering. The soap and shampoo bottles had no labels and looked quite moldy, so I bought my own shampoo and conditioner.

The patio was a lovely place to have friends over, and David was especially helpful in arranging a room with a door leading out to it. Franks and Nina were also helpful throughout the day. It's a relaxing Relais in a residential neighborhood, not too far from the main activities, with excellent, helpful service staff.

I cancelled my May 27 to June 2 stay at Relais Villa Coppede in Rome and received confirmation from the agent, but the promised refund still hasn't arrived. This has been going on since May 27, 2023. After seven months, customer service still doesn't answer my emails or calls. I'm deeply disappointed and feel my money is being withheld unjustly. I hope this gets resolved promptly and that other guests don't face the same problem.

The price was decent, and the receptionist spoke several languages and was super helpful. My only issue was the temperature: the room was big with a high ceiling, and the air conditioning wasn't enough to keep it warm.

Miss Valentina, thank you so much for being so kind and for all the lovely ways you made me feel comfortable and welcome again. I won't forget your kindness or my home away from home in Rome.
