The room was nice, a little old, but it had a TV and a good bathroom. The location is wonderful, right in the middle of everything and next to Piazza Navona, so it’s great for late night walks. The staff were very nice, took breakfast orders, and delivered everything on time. The breakfast itself was odd. The eggs were overcooked, and the orange juice was ridiculous, though the rest was fine. I’d skip it. Also, this isn’t actually a hotel. It’s a strange mix of a guesthouse and a hotel, and that was my mistake since I thought I’d booked a hotel. There’s no reception after 2 pm, so you have to contact the owner before arriving. It wasn’t hard to find once I did. Would I stay again? Probably not.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is good. The junior suite, though, was in very bad shape. All the furniture was worn, there were ants in the washroom, and the bed felt like it had come from a dumpster. After I called booking.com to cancel the rest of my stay and move to another hotel, they only agreed to put me in a smaller room that was less ruined. There are five rooms in this apartment, and I suspect the positive reviews are from when it was newer or from guests who got the better rooms. The place really needs renovating.
The location is phenomenal, around the corner from Piazza Navona and within walking distance of the main sights in central Rome. The beds are wide and comfy, the rooms are good, and the bathroom was okay. The shower was too low for anyone over 1m85 unless you’re willing to crouch. We stayed Tuesday to Saturday, and being so central does mean some noise. On Friday night there was loud music until 00:30 AM, so think about whether you want a weekday stay or to join the party downstairs. Breakfast was basic. They automatically removed the yogurt the day after I didn’t eat it, though you could ask for it again. Oddly, they also gave us only three slices of toast for two people. Are we each meant to have one and split the last? Two each should be the minimum. The location and beds were good; breakfast was acceptable but mediocre.
We had a nice stay with no complaints. The rooms were recently remodeled and very nice, though a little small. The shower was hot, and breakfast was lovely. The location is excellent, with a taxi stand about 50 steps from the door and Piazza Navona just on the other side of the wall.
I stayed two nights, on 4 and 5/10/22, and loved the clean, modern room and the helpful staff. Navona Living Rome is in a great spot, within walking distance of most attractions, shops, and restaurants. I’d highly recommend this B&B Hotel and will book direct next time.
