Residenza Frattina

The lounge with the piano was lovely, even if it was usually pretty empty. Our well-equipped room had a mini fridge with bottled water already in it, plus a coffee machine. The Spanish steps are barely two minutes away, and the park is about a ten-minute walk. Simply lovely.

We stayed three nights and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the location made it easy to walk to most major attractions. There’s no traditional front desk, but the instructions for getting through the gate, picking up the key card, and settling in were clear, so everything went smoothly. The elevator is on the small side, though that wasn’t a problem for me. I’m very happy with the stay and give it five stars.

The service was impeccable, showing that you can be well looked after without a conventional front desk or reception. The building itself is old, but the rooms have been renovated, and the location is excellent.

We found the room spotless, and it came with coffee and snacks that were replenished every day. The staff were incredibly helpful and responsive, which made everything smooth. The hotel is in a charming apartment complex right in the heart of Rome, close to great places to eat and within walking distance of the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Pantheon, and plenty more. Highly recommended.
