Ursula and her son Davide were the kindest hosts, and the hotel was beautiful and ridiculously clean. We had a lovely view, and the area felt safe. Everything we wanted to walk to was close by, with pizza and restaurants downstairs, shops around us, and a laundry mat around the corner. We used it, and card payment only, FYI. The common room was lovely, and the hotel kitchen had food, snacks, and drinks available 24/7. Our restroom was stocked with everything we needed, including tissues, a shower cap, shampoo, body wash, soap, toothbrush and toothpaste kits, and a shaving kit. The reviews didn’t fail us. No need to keep searching, this is where you need to stay. Five stars aren’t enough. Can’t wait to return. Thanks again, Ursula and Davide.

We stayed for six nights in December 2025, and it turned out to be one of our best decisions. Ursula made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. She was kind, helpful, easy to reach, and even arranged an early check-in. There was coffee waiting, then she showed us around and gave us a short, useful introduction with a little portable map full of her handwritten tips. The room, Giunone, was spacious by Rome standards and very clean. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and towels were clean, and the bedding was changed every two days. Even with temperatures around 10-12°C outside, the residence stayed warm, and each room had air conditioning. Hot water and water pressure were both good whenever we needed them. Slippers, shower gel, creams, and other toiletries were provided for free. There’s a small fridge for drinks, though it won’t fit much else. Breakfast is self-serve in the shared kitchen, and you can take a tray back to your room whenever you like. It’s available around the clock, with fruit, pastries, eggs you can boil to your liking, several kinds of ham and cheese, juices, milk, yogurt, muesli, and cornflakes. The fridge also has drinks, some paid, on an honesty-bar system where you note what you take and pay at the end. There are a few beers, prosecco, and wine. The residence is very central. Most Rome sights are within a 30-minute walk, and the three bus stops near the entrance are only about 50-100 meters away. The Vatican and Pantheon are farther out but reachable by public transport, and a taxi to the Vatican costs no more than €10. We booked a city-view room facing Largo di Torre Argentina; other rooms look toward the back and the building’s vents. The kitchen is shared with guests in the other rooms. The windows are double-glazed and have blinds, so the traffic noise was well reduced. You can still hear the tram going by, but it didn’t bother us, and earplugs are provided. Ursula’s warmth, advice, and care made the whole stay feel like home. We’d love to see her again soon.

The room facing the ruins where Caesar was assassinated was such a cool bonus, and it was larger than a typical hotel room with everything we needed. The area is convenient for all the main sights, but it felt calmer than some other parts of town. Urszula was incredibly kind and went out of her way to help us feel comfortable, including arranging cabs and sharing recommendations. Amazing stay for the price. Grazie!

The hosts were so kind and helpful, and our room had plenty of space. We also appreciated being able to get fruit throughout the day with breakfast. Most of the places we wanted to see, along with lots of restaurants, were an easy walk away.
