The security system for entering the building made us feel safe, and the room was cozy and clean. We also appreciated having someone clean it every day. Risorgimento 55 was a fabulous place to stay, about a five-minute walk from the subway and within walking distance of the Vatican. I’d highly recommend it for a visit to Rome.

The room had a lovely balcony overlooking the plaza, and the building was old but well maintained. The showers could use better water pressure. We had a great stay in this Airbnb, thanks in part to its fantastic location, close to the Vatican and in the heart of the city.

The room, decor, cleanliness, location, and snacks were all perfect. But the entry system would keep us from returning. You need your phone for the building, apartment, and room doors, which was stressful for us. After a day of photos, audio guides, and map apps, a dead battery could leave you unable to enter your room or call or text for remote access. That’s the one deal breaker for us.

The manager was extremely helpful while we were there. The air conditioning was a lifesaver, and the place is very close to St Peter's, the metro, and plenty of restaurants, bakeries, and shops.
