We changed hotels after the staff told us they couldn't fix the serious air conditioning problem. This was during a hot period, and I wouldn't recommend staying here in summer based on our experience. At checkout, we asked for a refund, including the city tax, and reception directed us to Booking.com to request the unused night back. Booking.com then told us the hotel wasn't replying to its emails, so the refund has been delayed. We only moved because the staff advised us to, which makes the lack of communication and unresolved refund incredibly frustrating. A basic problem was handled poorly, and the whole thing caused unnecessary stress.

We got the balcony we asked for, and the room had a nice amount of space. The bed was very comfortable, and we received a warm, polite welcome when we arrived.

The location is handy for Roma station, with some nice restaurants nearby, but I only stayed one night and wouldn't go back. The room was dirty, the shower leaked, and there was hardly any room to move. I set the air conditioning to 16, but it still felt like 20 or more. They call this a hotel, though it operated more like an average Airbnb. I got to Rome airport around 7 in the evening and received an email saying there'd be no receptionist after 8. They asked me to send ID, then said they'd provide access instructions. There was a lockbox beside the room door, like in many Airbnbs.

We were welcomed by a lovely woman, and every staff member we met was so helpful. The rooms were spotless, too. It's on a quiet street within walking distance of the sights, with lovely local restaurants and a great rooftop bar at a nearby hotel.

The location was good, and the room was okay, but the air felt damp and poorly circulated. I think there may have been mold in the AC because of the strange smell. When we checked in, the elevator wasn't working, so we had to carry our luggage up to the fifth floor. Two people were stuck in the elevator, and the receptionist yelled at them, saying, “I don’t care.” He was rude and shouted at people.
