LIKES: The blackout shutters were amazing, I had the best nap of my life. The room’s AC is very powerful, the bed is big and comfortable, and having a bidet was a bonus. The balcony is spacious and has lovely views. There’s a huge range of breakfast options, the room is serviced daily, and the owners respond quickly, even in the evening. A few bus stops are conveniently close too. DISLIKES: It’s a very old building, and you need multiple keys to get in. My shower clogged at one point. The windows and walls aren’t soundproof, so light sleepers will hear everything outside. The towels had stains, and there were a few bugs in the bathroom. Check-in is entirely remote and done by phone, so keep your phone charged. I had a nice stay, but next time I think I’ll choose a hotel.

If you value privacy, this B&B may suit you. The owner only helps by phone or message, so you’ll never meet her. The only person you’ll see is the woman who prepares breakfast, and that’s at breakfast time. A tip: keep your phone charged.

We got lucky and had a room with a balcony. There are great restaurants nearby and a grocery store next door. It’s a hidden gem and one of the best deals in Rome. Remote check-in can be a little confusing, but it’s nothing to worry about. Getting around can be tricky too. I recommend the nearby Jonio metro station, with several bus routes going to and from there.

The staff were friendly and professional, and the room was clean and well managed. From here you can reach the city center by bus or taxi. It’s a bit inconvenient, but still better than driving and trying to park.

We’re grateful for the great stay at B&B Roma Talenti. Mr. Vincenzo is a very good host, direct and focused on providing excellent service. The place also has an elegant feel. We wish you and your team all the best. Sílvia Nunes and Mario Matijaš.
